‘Beyond Us, We See’ is a donations-only organization founded by Ellie Wilcox, a professional in Psychology/Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MA) and Animal Behavior and Welfare (MSc). Established during and to support her PhD research in Animal Behavior and Welfare, the organization offers Zoom and In-Person sessions in 3 focus-areas, incorporating training in animal behavioral observation and analysis.
The aims of sessions are to:

Enhance human psychological wellness through understanding and relating to the depth of creation

Develop investigative skills to consider the wellness of personal animals and those in our everyday lives
Additionally:
In-person Animal Behavioral Analyses conducted by Ellie Wilcox are offered, specializing in behavioral indicators of animal affective states. (Currently available in Germany and the Netherlands).

In-Person Sessions:
Each session category is also offered in-person in Nuremberg, Germany and Harderwijk/surrounding areas, Netherlands. Based on availability- please email info@beyonduswesee.org.
Individualized Approach
Introductory session: During your initial session, a personalized plan will be developed to align with your selected focus area and goals. You will then receive an overview of animal behavioral data collection techniques and considerations, and you will be equipped to begin your own behavioral observations.
Ongoing sessions: Before booking each additional session, you will be asked to spend at least 2 hours engaging in animal behavioral observation and submit an Observation Overview Log. The animal(s) can include pets, farm animals, zoo animals, or species in nature. Human-animal interactions may also be a focus.
Professional Animal Behavioral Analyses
Conducted in-person by Ellie Wilcox (MA), these analyses are observation-focused on individual animals and groups.
Specializing in behavioral indicators to assess wellness, investigate anomalies, recognize patterns and traits, and evaluate social cohesion in animal groups.
Offered to pet owners, farms, zoological facilities, and animal organizations in Germany and the Netherlands. Email info@beyonduswesee.org for availability.
